( OVERLAND PARK , Kan. ) – PeakVision Sports -- makers of the patented Dual-Zone lens sunglasses designed specifically for golfers – today announces professional golfers Briana Vega, Kristy McPherson and Jeanne Cho-Hunicke will represent the company while using its high-performance eyewear throughout the 2007 season.

Vega, winner of the ladies and ultimate titles on The Golf Channel's hit program “The Big Break VI: Trump National,” and LPGA rookies McPherson and Cho-Hunicke will promote PeakVision Sports at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show, January 25-27 in Orlando (booth 3265). All three will wear “PEAKS” during their 2007 playing schedules.

Vega, 24, is a native of Andover , Mass. , and wore PeakVision Sports sunglasses while claiming the Big Break VI title in December. The victory earned her exemptions into the LPGA Tour's SBS Open at Turtle Bay and the Longs Drugs Challenge; she'll also compete on the 2007 Duramed FUTURES Tour. The North Carolina State graduate was twice named the Wolfpack's team MVP and holds school records for 18- and 54-hole scoring. Vega competed in the 2004 U.S. Women's Open and posted a fourth-place finish at the 2006 Hunters Oak FUTURES Golf Classic.

McPherson, 25 and from Conway, S.C., earned her ticket to the top circuit in women's golf by placing fourth on the 2006 Duramed FUTURES Tour Money list. She was a three-time All-American and two-time Southeastern Conference champion at the University of South Carolina . In 2002 she earned the NCAA's Honda Most Inspirational Athlete award, having overcome a severe arthritic condition that kept her bed-ridden for nearly a year as an 11-year-old. In 2006, McPherson won twice on the FUTURES Tour and competed on The Big Break VI.

Cho-Hunicke, 24, earned conditional status on the 2007 LPGA Tour at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament in December. She played in 18 FUTURES Tour events in 2006, making 14 cuts and earning a best finish of fifth place. In three seasons on the FUTURES Tour, Cho-Hunicke shaved nearly 1.5 strokes from her scoring average. The three-time All-Southeastern Conference selection at the University of Florida has competed in the U.S. Women's Amateur and the U.S. Women's Open. Born in Suresnes , France , Cho-Hunicke resides in the Orlando area and was the runner-up on The Big Break V: Hawaii , wearing PEAKS throughout the competition.

“Briana, Kristy and Jeanne are gifted and rapidly improving young players and it's a pleasure to welcome them to the PeakVision Sports family,” says PeakVision Sports President Scott D. Berg. “Their success and belief in PeakVision Sports' technology make them ideal representatives of the company. We expect great things from all three players as their careers progress.”

Adds PeakVision Sports CEO and founder Paul Moore , “It's gratifying to see up-and-coming players embracing PeakVision Sports' breakthrough technology. Bri, Kristy and Jeanne know from their experience on The Big Break that PEAKS are an indispensable piece of golf equipment that can give players a great edge on the course.”

Vega, McPherson and Cho-Hunicke join PGA TOUR veterans Billy Andrade and Scott McCarron, Champions Tour stalwart Bruce Fleisher, golf “color” commentator David Feherty, and rising LPGA Tour players Moira Dunn, Mikaela Parmlid, Beth Bader, Jean Bartholomew, Becky Morgan and Heather Young among those professional players who utilize PEAKS as an integral component in their golf equipment arsenal.

In 2006, PeakVision Sports introduced five white-hot models – EL0, EL1, SD7, DG9 and GR4 -- that were rapidly adopted by recreational golfers and players on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours. The company also launched the PEAKS Rx Program, allowing those with optical prescriptions to enjoy the benefits of PeakVision Sports eyewear in the EL0, EL1, SL8, SD7 and ST7 models.

In addition to golfers performing at higher levels wearing PeakVision Sports sunglasses, they are also popular among skiers, professional baseball umpires and pilots where vision is critical to performance.

About PeakVision Sports

The first major lens innovation in sports sunglass technology in more than 40 years, PeakVision Sports high-performance eyewear represents a radical step forward in optical design and lens manufacturing. The vast majority of sunglasses since the 1960s have had single-filter, polycarbonate lenses incapable of properly managing the bright hues of the horizon and sky versus the dark hues of terrain and landscape.

A breakthrough in sunglass design, PeakVision Sports' innovative Dual-Zone lenses incorporate two filters into one lens, allowing golfers to clearly distinguish between the turf and the sky to create optimal visual acuity. The material used in PeakVision Sports lenses is liquid-cast and optically superior to the polycarbonate material used in most sunglass brands.

PeakVision's “See Better, Play Better” competitive advantage is enjoyed by golf professionals in every venue including the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, Nationwide Tour, and the U.S. Pro Golf Tour. These highly competitive golfers and hundreds of caddies and weekend warriors have unequivocally embraced PeakVision Sports sunglasses as a valuable component in their equipment arsenal. Believing the eyes are the windows to the mind, renowned sports psychologist Dr. Bob Rotella has discovered significant psychological benefits of PeakVision's Dual-Zone, Zero-Distortion lens technology and recommends them to many professional athletes seeking his counsel.

PeakVision Sports is affecting a paradigm shift in which sunglasses are no longer viewed as a fashion accessory, but as an essential piece of equipment, no less important than a putter, driver or wedge.
